We ask our clients to complete our simple rental application before driving a vehicle. Due to the nature of the vehicles and our insurance restrictions, we do have some policies that we must adhere to.

Age Limit and Driving Record

Our vehicles are available to anyone over the age of 25 with a reasonable driving record (no major infractions such as DUIs).

Because of the type of vehicles we provide to our clients, our insurance dictates that all of our clients must have their own liability and physical damage coverage. For most of our clients, their existing automobile insurance policies do cover our rentals.

Additional Drivers

Additional drivers can be listed on the rental contract at the time of the rental, but must also adhere to these restrictions.

Deposit

We do require that all clients leave a credit card authorization as a damage deposit, prior to the rental. Any damage to the vehicle will be charged against this authorization upon the return of the vehicle.

Cancellations

Because of the limited nature of our fleet, we try our best to make our vehicles available. When we book a reservation, that vehicle is marked for your sole use and we turn down other prospective clients. While we realize that you may change your mind (we give you 24 hours to cancel a reservation that’s made more than 7 days in advance), it becomes difficult for us to manage our schedule. If you cancel more than 7 days in advance, you will incur 50% of the cost of the rental. If you cancel within 7 days of the reservation, you will be charge the total cost of the rental.

Having been in the Tri-State area for a long time, we realize that extreme weather can come down quickly. We will try our best to accommodate in case of bad weather (snow, black ice) up to waiving the cancellation fees.

Rental Duration

While we won’t strictly enforce that you return a rental exactly after 24 hours (for a 1 day rental), we do ask that you please be considerate of other clients who may be renting the vehicle right after you. Just as you wouldn’t want your vehicle to be delivered to you 2 hours late, other renters would not want it either.

Payment Types

We accept all major credit credits: VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Please call us if you are interested in alternative payment methods.

Fuel

We will deliver the vehicle to you with a full tank of gas. Should you need to refuel the vehicle, please use “Super +”/”Premium” grade fuel.

Delivery & Pickup

We will deliver and pickup the vehicle free of charge anywhere in Manhattan. We can deliver and pickup the vehicle anywhere in the Northeast for a reasonable charge, so please call and ask.

If you choose to pickup the vehicle yourself from our clubhouse, we provide free parking and a complimentary wash for your vehicle.

Tickets

Any parking and traffic tickets and/or vehicle impounds for the duration of the rental are the sole responsibility of the renters. All costs, fines and surcharges must be paid by the client.

Mileage

Our vehicles come with a 100 mile provision per rental day. Any mile overages will be charge the standard per-mile rate.

Driving Area Restrictions

You are permitted to drive in the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia. Prior written approval must be sought for travel outside these states.

Vehicle Use Restrictions

While we want you to enjoy your rental, there are certain restrictions that we must place on the use of our vehicles. Our vehicles may not be:

• Driven by anyone who isn’t registered as an additional driver prior to renting the vehicle
• Used to off-road
• Driven beyond posted speed limits
• Used to race, either on-street or off-street
• Driven on open or enclosed race tracks
• Used for any illegal activity
• Used to transport any goods for hire
• Used to transport people for hire
• Used to tow anything or to push anything
• Driven on any unpaved road or surface
• Used to train someone to drive
